====== Dynamic Cover Images ======

:!: Dynamic cover generation was introduced in VuFind® 2.3.

When enabled, dynamic cover generation can be used to create images to use as thumbnails when no third-party [[configuration:external_content|external content providers]] can offer image data.

See the [Content] and [DynamicCovers] sections of [[configuration:files:config.ini|config.ini]] for more detailed documentation on available options and settings.

Beginning with VuFind® 5.0, [[development:plugins:coverlayers|custom cover layer plugins]] can be written to create new cover drawing options.
