Demian and Chris met with Ex Libris representatives to discuss the state of the Alma driver. Everyone seems happy with it so far, but a few possible optimizations have been suggested to improve performance. These will be incorporated into a future release.

=== Browse Handler Optimizations ===

Tod has been devoting some time to this; the browse handler Java requirement has been raised to Java 8. More work will be forthcoming, and will be discussed in the [[https://github.com/vufind-org/vufind-browse-handler/pulls|pull requests on the handler]].
