====== Built-in Development Tools ======

VuFind® includes several built-in tools useful to developers, which can only be accessed when the system is set to [[development:troubleshooting#turn_on_development_mode|development mode]].

To access the tools while in development mode, go to: ''<nowiki>http://your-vufind-base-url/DevTools/Home</nowiki>''.

Tools include:

  * A "deminifier" for examining search data stored in the database
  * A reference to all available icons in the theme configuration
  * A language comparison tool to help identify i18n needs
  * A permissions-testing tool (added in release 10.1)
