2. Development Planning
Improved Author Indexing
André was able to provide us with some test records before going on leave, but Demian has not had time to invest further work in this since the last call.
Solr Upgrade
Demian has begun work on a Solr 5 branch, and basic indexing / alphabrowse support is now working (thanks to help from Mark Triggs). We still have to discuss several details of how best to incorporate Solr into VuFind in the future. This will likely be decided for VuFind 3, with VuFind 2 remaining on Solr 4 for the sake of legacy compatibility.

WorldCat Discovery
API (
#218)? Dependent on progress at OCLC.
Improved author indexing (
#354)? Dependent on progress with SolrMarc project.
Text domain support (
#419)? Probably.
Blueprint Deprecation
No objections to removing Blueprint from master. Demian will send one more call for protest to the mailing list, then remove it next week.
3. VuFind Summit 2015
No news – just a reminder that registration is now open.
4. Other Topics?
Demian asked Kristof about the state of the current DAIA driver update pull request; Kristof still wants to make some further adjustments before that gets merged, so Demian will wait for his progress.
