Ben has decided to try a different approach using Docker – see #962. We have closed #913 and made the Heroku work in progress an optional feature branch in the repo for future reference.

The team behind the Beluga instance of VuFind is interested in contributing some new functionality back to the project. Some of this can currently be seen in their beluga-Libraries and beluga-SearchKeys repositories. We should discuss strategies for incorporating this new code.
The Beluga team is customizing several VuFind instances for libraries in Northern Germany. They are interested in sharing functionality in separate modules to make it easier to mix and match pieces to achieve desired functionality.
Some discussion of versioning difficulties as well as figuring out how to make themes interoperate. Demian will think about a theme mix-in mechanism. This might also work well with the idea of a theme compiler for faster production performance.
We've gotten as far as we can for 4.0; more work will be done for 5.0.

Solr 6.4.2 has been merged to master. We should look at 6.5.0 eventually, but for now we will focus on finishing other aspects of the VuFind 4.0 release.
Google Maps code still needs to be removed – will happen soon.
