VuFind Developers Call Minutes: July 17, 2018

• VUFIND-1212 - An initial Alma driver has been created and merged to master.
• VUFIND-1275 - The WorldCatIdentities recommendation module display glitch has been corrected.

• #1213 - merged - Prevent circular references in hierarchies.
• #1214 - merged - Eliminated duplicate comments Javascript code.
• #1215 - merged - Improvements to authority schema and record drivers.
• #1216 - in progress - Bug fix to API display of authors without roles.

The release went out on time. There are some issues with SolrMarc Java 10 compatibility that will have to be addressed in 5.0.1.

The Alma driver was included in release 5.0. The FOLIO driver is still in development.

The registration cost will be the same as last year – $60 for two days, including light breakfast and lunch. The fee will be waived for presenters. Registration will open later this summer; the call for presenters is already open.

Demian has spent a little more time on the bower-installer pull request in an effort to better standardize the way we handle external JS/CSS dependencies.
