Highlights / Executive Summary

With a release date set for version 6.1 (February 3, 2020), the focus of development has turned to bug fixing and updating translation files (though a handful of minor outstanding enhancements have also been completed). More substantial feature and infrastructure changes will resume next year when work begins on the 7.0 release.

Recently Completed / Resolved Issues

The following items were completed in the past month:

  • Add support for ISMN and NBN identifiers to cover loader: #1451
  • Alma ILS driver improvements: #1511, #1514, #1516, #1522, #1527
  • Fix feedback form login bug: #1528
  • Fix OAI-PMH query sets output bug: VUFIND-1376
  • Fix PHP 7.3 bug involving numeric spelling terms: #1515
  • Fix PHP short tags bug in Overdrive template: #1525
  • Improve SideFacetsDeferred error handling: #1517
  • Low-level filtering of invalid incoming parameters: #1518
  • Make UrlQueryHelper more extensible: #1523
  • Updated translations: #1524
  • Use database table for email authenticator tokens (instead of session); also fixes some general email authentication bugs: #1519, #1520

This pull request was opened by accident and then immediately closed; it can be safely ignored: #1526

Active Issues

The following items saw significant progress / activity during the past month:

  • Demian noticed that several closed/resolved JIRA tickets were tagged “Wishlist.” He reopened them in order to remove the version tag, then closed them again. This is just JIRA maintenance and does not indicate any activity related to the content of the tickets.
