The May, 2021 Newsletter was discussed.
CSV Importer
Demian worked on pull request #1952 to improve VuFind's ability to send commands and write documents to Solr; he has merged this into the CSV proof of concept work in pull request #1761, which should allow him to simplify some of functionality; he will continue to work on as time permits.
Future of Tools
VuFind unexpectedly ran out of Travis tokens, but Ere Maijala was able to quickly rebuild our CI workflow using GitHub Actions, so this is no longer a problem. Investigation of GitLab as a complement/backup may still be worthwhile, but is no longer at all urgent.
There is no news on JIRA.

Demian has not had time to revisit this issue yet.

Search System Command Pattern Refactoring
Demian highlighted pull request #1967, which proposes some important changes to VuFind's internal search service.
