VuFind Developers Call Minutes: March 18, 2014

Attending: Filipe Bento, Chris Hallberg, Demian Katz, Sean Purcell

Agenda

1. Development Updates

JIRA Tickets

  • VUFIND-561 - ILL support now exists, though the Aleph-specific functionality in the patch on this ticket has not yet been ported to 2.x. There has been some interest in this work, so it may be done soon. (See also PR #92).
  • VUFIND-963 - The bug described here (affecting Shibboleth and CAS authentication users) has been corrected.
  • VUFIND-964 - This ticket covers the entityExpansionLimit setting discussed on the previous call; the setting is now disabled by default in the import scripts.
  • VUFIND-965 - This ticket discusses some possible limitations/undesirable side effects of our current use of ISSN/ISBN fields in the AllFields search handler. Further discussion is necessary.
