VuFind Developers Call Minutes: July 3, 2018

Attending: Chris Hallberg, Demian Katz, Jochen Lienhard, Johannes Schultze

• VUFIND-1289 - Tracks the possibility of implementing a search backend for the CrossRef API.

• #1209 - in progress - The Villanova format determination logic, as promised on the previous call.
• #1210 - merged - Minor bug fix to full facet list.
• #1211 - merged - Bug fixes to CSRF processing.
• #1212 - merged - Adjustment to session database table to allow larger data.

The code is frozen (apart from pending ILS driver additions), but Demian has worked on a couple of bug fixes.

Chris has opted to close many of his open front-end-related pull requests, as functionality has either already made its way into master or is no longer needed. Chris also worked on a few minor bug fixes.

Chris has been working on testing the Alma driver. He has working credentials but needs to complete indexing so the testing can be done.

The preliminary conference page has been put in place, but many details still need to be determined. The call for presentations is open.

Jochen is making progress on the EDS autocomplete functionality; he expects to be finished in the next week or two. Some new EDS functionality may also be coming soon, but no details are available yet.
