Membership Levels and Benefits
This page is still a draft, and details are likely to change. This will eventually incorporate more of the information from the 2020 planning page.
The VuFind project prides itself on providing a valuable free tool to the global community, and there is no cost to use the software or participate in its development. However, institutions and users who find the tool valuable and have the means to contribute are encouraged to provide financial support in order to ensure its long-term sustainability.
Levels
You can support the project in a few ways:

| Donor | Any amount (one time) | • An entry in the donor list. |
| Backer | US$24-1199 per year | • An entry in the backer list. • One representative of your organization will be signed up for a special supporter newsletter and will be able to join a special supporters-only Q&A/discussion session with the Project Management Committee during the annual VuFind Summit. • Free or discounted services from participating partner organizations (including free training for one member of your organization). • Note: If your support lapses, your entry will be moved to the donor list. |
| Sponsor | US$1200 or more per year | • An entry in the sponsor list. • A sponsor badge on the Support page and/or your logo on VuFind's home page. • Up to three representatives of your organization will be signed up for a special supporter newsletter and will be able to join a special supporters-only Q&A/discussion session with the Project Management Committee during the annual VuFind Summit. • Free or discounted services from participating partner organizations (including free training for up to three members of your organization). • Your organization's name can be listed as the sponsor of a new VuFind feature each year (in commit message and release notes). • Note: If your support lapses, your entry will be moved to the donor list. |
The project looks forward to working with you, but reserves the right to reject entries linking to spam or inappropriate content.
Payment
We are working on determining a more convenient method of collecting donations. In the meantime, if you wish to contribute, you can contact Demian Katz (demian DOT katz AT villanova DOT edu) to request an invoice.
