 +VuFind's Record Versions feature is designed to group together records that represent versions of the same work (e.g. editions of a textbook, translations of a novel) without performing a full deduplication. This makes related records more easily findable with less risk of user confusion or incorrect merging than a full "deduplication" approach. Note that a separate [[indexing:deduplication|deduplication solution]] is available for users who want it.
