+André has received a quote for a security audit; it seems likely that FINC can fund a first round security audit now, and future audit follow-ups could be candidates for funding by the project. There was discussion about possible priorities and strategies for the audit. André will reach out to the vendor for clarification on what type of input will be most helpful, and then the PMC will contribute answers to the vendor's questions.
 Mohan has proposed building an endowed fund so that the project can grow interest. Demian talked to Scott at OLF and learned that we have a couple of options. We could set up a "business savings" account with some interest, but the rates are very low, making it unlikely to be worth the effort. Another option could be to invest funds in a CD, which would yield higher interest but make the funds unavailable for the term of the certificate. Scott suggests that this is not worth doing unless we have at least $10,000 to invest and are sure we will not need it for anything else.

PMC meeting pages seem to be getting a lot of attention (perhaps from people beyond the PMC itself). Blender configuration is also getting a lot of traffic, even though it isn't released yet.
